Core Business

The Group’s two core businesses are:

The Group owns and manages the two divisions on an integrated basis, leveraging on each other’s capabilities and market knowledge for greater benefit to both. The Offshore Engineering Services Division supports the Offshore Support Services Division with the building of vessels to augment the chartering fleet and modification of specifications to meet customers’ demands. In turn, the Offshore Support Services Division provides market knowledge of customers’ requirements to allow the Offshore Engineering Services Division to build vessels with specifications that match market requirements.

Offshore Support Services Division

The Group owns and operates a fleet of diversified offshore supply vessels (“OSVs”) available for worldwide charter. These vessels operate across the entire life cycle of offshore oil and gas projects; they are used in activities that include seismic surveys during the exploration phase, positioning of rigs during the development of the oil and gas fields, towing, mooring and handling of ship anchors, provision of supplies during the production period and the removal of rig structures at de-commissioning. They also serve the subsea construction, mining and marine-related activities and industries.

Its fleet of 28 vessels includes anchor handling tug supply vessels (“AHTSVs”), anchor handling tug (“AHT”), ROV support vessels (“ROVSVs”), accommodation work barge and flat top cargo barges.

With one of the youngest and most diversified fleet in the region and highly experienced crew teams, Jaya is a reputed offshore services provider known for excellence in service. Customers include global national oil companies such as PTTEP, Pearl Oil, Petrovietnam, Petronas Carigali, Murphy Oil and oil majors such as Chevron, Total and Shell and other OSV operators such as Solstad, Zamil Offshore, Fugro Surveys, Zakher Marine, etc.

Offshore Engineering Services Division

The Group owns and operates two shipyards in Singapore and Batam (Indonesia) and has outsourcing arrangements with several shipyards in China. The two shipyards are able to build up to nine vessels of up to 130 metres per annum. It designs and constructs specialised offshore vessels that are built not only to global standards but also to exacting standards of excellence.

Building upon its strong engineering foundation, the Group is able to support the building of sophisticated, high value, and higher specifications vessels. These range from AHTSVs to remotely operated vehicle support vessels.

In the last ten years, the Group has built and delivered more than 100 vessels. Our repeat customers include NOR Offshore, Stanford Marine, Gulfmark Offshore, Edison Chouest Offshore and Deep Sea Supply Service.

Besides the designing and building of vessels, the division also provides engineering and project management services.
